This photograph shows the original walnut stocks which I removed and replaced with a fiberglass set from Fulton Armory. Note the unusual shoulder support that hinges up from the buttplate. It was meant to assist controlling the M14 rifle during fully automatic use.
The marking of the “collector’s” model stock.
The notch in the wooden stock just below the rear site is where the selector would go in an M14 rifle.
A closeup of the unusual shoulder support and the trap door that holds the cleaning gear inside the stock.
