I try to be earth friendly so I reload my ammunition in 9 mm, .38, .357, .223, .22-250, and .308 caliber’s using a simple Lyman turret press. I belong to a local indoor pistol range and often take trips to some of the local outdoor rifle ranges.
I never leave cartridge casings behind and always clean up my paper targets. Only complete fools shoot glass bottles, microwaves, televisions and other garbage that belongs in the dump not on public property. I always bring back more trash than I generate often bringing back several large bags of trash. I am a responsible owner and have a large heavy gun safe and keep my firearms properly secured properly at all times.
Always follow proper gun handling procedures - check each weapon personally each and every time you pick it up, never point the weapon at anything you wouldn’t want shot and always be certain of your target and what lies beyond it. If you are new to firearms seek the advice of someone trusted, or better yet a professional trainer, before handling a weapon. In the tens of thousands of rounds I’ve fired over my fifteen years of gun ownership I have never had a single accident having always followed these rules.
I joined the National Rifle Association 15 years ago and support its efforts to preserve our rights. Also a member of the California Pistol and Rifle Association, Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership, Washington Arms Collectors Association, and Gun Owners of America. I hold a Curio and Relics Federal Firearm license.
