This is my F.lli Piettra historical weapon reproduction 1860 Army .44 caliber black powder pistol. It uses black powder and precussion caps vice modern smokless powder in cartridges with primers. I bought this as a wall hanger but also purchased the complete black powder kit to go along with it, just in case I ever want to take this piece of reproduced history out to see what it will do.
