The Beretta model 22a is a .22 LR caliber semiautomatic pistol with a tip-up barrel. The small pistol is a favorite of my wife. The tip-up barrel makes it easy to load, unload, and render the pistol safe. There is a hammer lock safety on the rear of the slide. The wooden grips were an additional cost over the plastic stock ones.
