Port visit canceled due to elections in Kosovo

When the USS George Washington left the Persian Gulf early to oversea the elections in Kosovo the USS Abraham Lincoln was moved into the gulf early and the third liberty port visit was canceled. We were first scheduled to spend four days in Thailand but after Hong Kong and Singapore were canceled the visit was expanded to six days before getting canceled again.

Thailand is my second country. I know enough Thai to get myself in trouble, love the food, enjoy the culuture to no end and can’t get enough tours in to keep me satisfied. In my dreams I plan on retiring here.
