Port visit canceled due to weather

Hong Kong was our first port visit but it was canceled 10 days before our scheduled visit because of an expect typhoon weather system. Imagine if in the United States we could tell if a huricane was going to hit Miami Beach ten days in advance?

I have been to this city several times prior to the Chinese taking it back from British control.
